one of the best videos I've found so far.

That helps explain a lot, but a few things were not there, as expected.
1- cost of prints, for same model as an example. Filament VS resin per print
2- strength of end product... for example... PLA VS Resin

Excellent and thanks for this. Good point you make about 'tinkering'. At first I was a bit put off to think that you spend money on a printer and it may or may not work that well out of the box, but I now realise that that is all part of the process (and price)!

Short and clear
Thanks
PS: SLA, M-SLA, DLP…. Are pretty different technologies and deserve a further video IMO

Love the fact that you are educating people on the differences. However, a quick note on SLA, there are two specific mechanisms to SLA, it’s SLA Masking via DLP or LCD and direct focused UV radiation known as laser. Though they are generally regarded as the same process, they use very different mechanisms. SLA is an umbrella technique that encompasses different mechanisms to accomplish the same goal. We are doing the community an injustice by using this term as a singular action . We should identify the technologies as SLA-Laser, SLA-DLP, SLA-LCD, etc. And really maybe just combine DLP and LCD as SLA-Mask (SLAM) Just to cut down on the confusion. Hope I helped more then confused.

Great intro video! My first SLA printer is on the way and I didn't realize I would need a post-print curing lamp and ultrasonic cleaning rig, so this has already helped me out.

About fdm printing: 0.1 mm is actually used more than 0.2
0.1 is more detailed (obviously) but is slower

Very helpful, one recommendation? Your microphone.... Thanks again

SLA and DLP is the same thing, a laser can technically produce more accurate results as there are limitations to how small the micro mirrors can get, though with an optical system micro mirrors could get in the same ballpark
