One easy way of orginizing the invintory [In my opinion] Is to have all the blocks On the left hand side, and all the ores seeds and anything thats not a block on the right hand side. Just a little Tip!

Put you items in the chests to clear your inventory before exploring the mansion and be sure and sleep to set you spawn jic. You can probably find the items to make a netherportal back to your base and haul everything back. GL/GH.

i was so happy when i found a seed with an ocean monument (x 154, z -457), a stronghold (x 850, z -1440) and a woodland mansion (x -1969, z 241) at max 2000 blocks around the spawnpoint !! + the spawn is on a deserted island with a shipwreck and ruins, surrounded by icebergs !! :D -3999383257761086655

You could make a creeper pattern at a loom and make it red so you can have your own banner
