Like my dad used to say, buying it is the cheapest part of ownership

If you have any mechanical problems, just drive it to your nearest Oshkosh dealer or your local auto parts store.

The first truck you rob in a zombie apocalypse type event. With its 5000 gallon tank. It’s like robbing a gas station!

For those who don't know, it's runs in everything, even if you spit in the gas tank it will give you decent range .

My buddy and his family bought a surplus mobile field hospital unit and turned it into a moving mansion. With the whole family working on it in their spare time, it only took five weeks.DC

I remember when I was with crash, fire and rescue and we got three of those stuck in the national forest helping put out wild fires. They are a beast but when it gets stuck boy are you in trouble.

I knew so many guys when I was in the military that did this. If you were single and wanted to go experience life first, then have a family, most of the guys went and did this. I was single all the way into my 30s. I did it, in fact, one of my buddies had a deuce and a half, he converted into an awesome self-contained motorhome. You could go from cab to quarters by just turning around. It looked a lot like those Antarctic Russian machines. My other buddy did the PLS and one of my other friends got a hold of one of the command center trailers and converted it. His was so cool because the PLS could drop it and he could take the rig to go do whatever and it had enough room on the back of it to have his little fiat
