This is only within the Wi-Fi range right you can't go outside and connect using cellular data

Video needs updating. At 3::05 you show downloading the App on your iPad, with no mention or display of needing to pay $14.99 (one-time purchase) in order to proceed. Perhaps it was still free when you posted this video (1 year ago) but now it definitely will not allow installation on the iPad without paying $14.99. Nice to save $35 by not downloading the MacOS version on your desktop, thanks. But putting it on any remote device like ipad is NOT free.

The only problem I’m having with this otherwise great software is the ability to pass a connected game pad up to the Mac with which you are connected. This software has the beef to stream data and graphics. But, does anybody know how, if at all, to pass the game pad connected to your iPad or local device up to the Mac with which you are connected? It doesn’t matter if it’s done using this software or some other software. But can it be done?

There shouldn’t be a technical limitation as I have used shadow to do some gaming and it will pass your game pad up to their servers.

But using Jump desktop or any software, have any of you who is reading this been able to pass a gamepad up to the Mac with which you are connected?

This video is completely false. You cannot avoid paying or subscribing by downloading from their web site. You can sign up for a 2-week trial in Mac but still have to pay the separate $14 on the iPad to download the app and they also demand that you subscribe to Jump Desktop teams. And all I want to do is control my Mac with iPad from the other room without buying expensive software on each device and subscribe.
