I am wanting to become an orthopedic surgeon. I am currently 12 years of age, and can read all 5 of the salter-harris fractures. I am really wanting to pursue my dream, and videos like this are very helpful to me. Thank you and keep up the great work!

I'm an Occupational Therapist and just used this video to help a patient with a "terrible triad" elbow fracture(s) better understand the radial head biomechanics even better than with my 3D skeleton model. Saved to my Patient Education playlist. Thanks much! I'll be exploring your other videos as well!

Randale, thank you so much for this video. I am studying kinesiology as a high school credit online and have watched this video over a dozen times. I also enjoy your the sound of your voice, very smooth and southern.

This was super helpful. I have a hyperextended elbow (I wish it went in depth about that) but this was very enlightening

I know the shoulder is quite complex, but I didn't know the elbow was also quite complex in it's joints, in particular the radius. I didn't realise it literally spins like that. This is was truly puts the cherry on top of my belief in God. Joints like these are so complex and purposeful, I cannot comprehend how chance and mutation got to this point, and pulled it off consistently to reproduce it to where it became the dominant structure in humans. No way. We were created to be this way!

Thank you! I recently broke my radial head and it dislocated as well. Had surgery, now in P.T. it is slow but sure. This video has helped me understand the movement of each bone as I do my exercises.

Excellent video! Particularly the animation at 6:44 showing how the humerus/radius/ulna intersection moves when twisting the wrist.
