Ugandan music is generally rhythmic, and the complexity of these rhythms varies due to the difference between the ethnic groups. These differences are also reflected in the varied instrumentation. Some musical genres are played on simple instruments while others, especially the dance music, are played in ensembles of complex instrumental.

Am so glad to see these pictures. I remember we used to read these stories while I was still a little child in Uganda. They reminded me a lot about the story of Nsangi, Nkarabanda, Nyonyi muzinge etc.
