Their culture is very much their own. Unspoiled, authentic, and beautiful. They are to be honored and respected for holding on to their ancient culture that is not harming anyone. People need to worry about war, disease, hunger, poverty etc. not concerned about a small groups polyamorous practice.

That's their culture and obviously they have different religion values and principles. So trying to fit your mind in their world, would be very difficult because you come from a different society with totally different values and ethics. To them this is normal for it's part of their treasured tradition, but judged by your beliefs and religion principles, you may see this to be total madness just the same way they would see some of your values and beliefs.
