@ Craig Susen, i use the TimeCode for Beatmatching. I use the S8 without SYNC.
The S8 give me the tracks and the overview in the displays. STEMS and normal Tracks are manual beatmatched without sync. And the Daft Punk Samples are from the Remix Decks (in SYNC). Yes you can use the S8 without TimeCode with SYNC, but i love to beatmacht with TimeCode for the feeling. Hope i can explain it. Sorry for the bad englisch :-) Don´t miss unterstand me. I use the SYNC sometimes. (Remixing, fast mixing etc.)

curious, what is the timecode doing for you in this case? Can't live w/ out the jog wheels? Just love the old skool feel of beatmatching?

Hey, great mix!! I just wanted to ask you, because I recently got a very similar set up (S8, with two Stanton turntables), how do you manage to keep the tempo steady?? Its really bothering me when I have two tracks in sinc and their tempos start varying and unstabilizing, and sudently the two tracks sound awfull toghether. So, how do you manage to keep the tempos stable with timecode? And also I wanted to ask you if you have any tips or advice with this set up. Ive been mixing for quite a while, but only with small controllers, never with actual vynil, I decided to get turntables because I feel that it captures the essence of Djing. Im learning how to use the turntables by themselves and I have already pretty much mastered the S8, but its hard to convine both. Any suggestions?

Is the Traktor S8 holding up in 2018? Looking to get this controller for Latin music or Spanish Rock. Most of the videos I have seen, the DJ is usually using them for Electronic music.

Tom Blackfield, nice mix! i think im seeing AIAIAI TMA-1 on your neck if im right? i DJ with these personally, how do you find these headphones in live club setting do you hear everything loud and clearly when the bass is thumping? i haven't hade the opportunity to play live with these, but i am a bit sceptic... what is your opinion on this?
I would really appreciate if you could share some experience? :) im leaning towards buying Sennheiser HD-25 just because of there ledgendary isolation.

Estás usando constantemente el SYNC visual, no dejas de mirar las pantallas para ver el bpm mientras tocas el pitch del plato. Encima vas siempre a destiempo metiendo las canciones, ni una mezcla en condiciones y hablas de feeling con el plato?? Me da que no has pinchado con vinilos normales en tu vida y este video lo deja mas que claro.
