The most profund wish of Shinji. The Asuka of Re-Take missunderstood it when try to convice him to leave her alone and make such dream into reality with the another Asuka. She never understood that Shinji wished have such dream with the same Asuka that share his bitter and sweet moments in the world that both deserve. So they go back to their own depresive reality for start to build such wonderful dream.

Ah yeah, I love Sting.
Recently I read a manga called Vigness Type 3 and it only had one chapter translated so far but it was a mix of Kamen Rider Ultraman Evangelion thing that made me chuckle with all the eva references, from the female lead being so Asuka-like, the male lead having 100% sync rate, the captain doing Gendo pose, the Vigness type 3 going Eva unit 01 berserk mode.
And I also dressed an Acura NSX in my Forza horizon with Asuka theme livery and called it Asuka NSX but since the game doesn't have cinematic replay I guess I'll just take screenshots into video then :/

This is one of the greatest artworks ever created, from the fan made creation that is Re-Take of Evangelion.

A true continuation of Neon Genesis Evangelion = after the End, from the movie... far superior than the rebuild movies in overall character development & story, though I would make it better with a few little addons to make it perfect as an OVA series... damn it Anno why not something like this instead!!!? = what a waste of 20 years!

It is a wonderful feeling of trying again to make things right this time around, but at the cost of revelation & struggle that some things will not always go the way we want them to, or desire deep down the way we believe it should be.

This image is original Shinji with Asuka from the new Re Take universe that he fell in love with, got married to and had a wonderful baby with, depending on the gender you see in the read of it all... original Asuka's own vision of it from her perspective from his mind sees it as a boy, while near the end of the illusion later on, its a girl just like Asuka herself... I guess some things in the family is passed on in the children in adorable looks.

There's even another Retake looking one like this, where they had a really lot of children together, while she feeds one of them.

The daughter is nameless, but she calls herself god... as she has powers that rival or even surpass her own parents in capabilities combined, due to post 3rd impact = Asuka and Shinji both had red eyes at the end of Evangelion and were now human angel hybrids based on being the new Adam & Eve.

Shinji accidently created the multiverse of Evangelion as we know it today = after the 3rd impact with all the trauma he felt afterwards, and started an endless cycle that goes on even till this very day in creative & endless possibilities.

When Shinji fell in love with Re take Asuka in this new alternate reality and accidently got her pregnant... the genes & powers were passed down to their child from him, and as a result was able to do things that he could not... but still depended on his existence with his powers to be there & survive = especially since she came from a possible future & alternate one where she exists due to the love between the two pilots... using the unborn body as a vassal during that time.

In this scene, it shows them both living a happy life after the war is all over... but sadly Asuka lost her memories after the battle with 16th angel, and had the mindset of a child once again, the only thing she remembered was her love for Shinji... so Shinji decided to take care of her from now on and they still got married together, after the baby was born that they still kept.

But here, it is all an illusion, created by the original Asuka to make Shinji happy... as she had already forgiven him at this point for all the mistakes he did previously... however, Shinji rejected this illusion of a reality created for him and decided to go back with the original Asuka to be with her from now on... because he knew she'd be all alone if he didn't.

When the original Asuka & Shinji went back to their original universe after the final battle, so did the powers that their daughter had as well... and she ended up evaporating into LCL, then steam back into Retake Asuka's womb as a normal human fetus without any angel powers... but promised her momma one day that they'll met again as she later reincarnated at the end of the story.

But it seems that she exists in many other timelines as their daughter, because she also appeared towards the original Shinji as well... saying that they'll meet someday, before the last chapter... which means that the original Asuka & Shinji will one day conceive her in their universe too.

If I would give her an official name, it would be Hope... Hope Langley Ikari = in honour of her other self from the fanfiction of Aftermath of Evangelion story... because she would represent the hope that both Asuka and Shinji would have to keep on living for the future between their new family & the world together.

It's all fascinating when we look deep into it all, and that's why fans all over see Evangelion as one of the top greatest anime franchises of all time.

And to think, I was into all this even before I found 2nd Try & Aki-Chan barely 2 years ago.

They're both great follow up fan stories of the original, and I love it all for how much people have put into them both in the characters & stories.

Both Aki & Hope Ikari are my top favourite daughters/children of the New Ikari family... Hope is a spitting image after her own mother, with a little of her farther in her in looks... while Aki-Chan is a perfect combination between the two & more.
