As a heavy wrecker operator I can’t tell you how many of these calls I’ve done. I’ve had excavators stuck in mud pits that covered the cab and had to dig to even get anything to hook too. Mud is the worse and makes such a hard pull because it’s like a suction cup. I’ve had excavators and every other piece of equipment on its side more times than I can count, and stuck just about every way possible and even some that shouldn’t be but some how some idiot made it happen.
