in part three of my Morocco travel series, I make my journey to the Sahara desert sand dunes. I went without tours or guides to spend some time alone in the desert, exploring the Sahara on my own terms even as a solo female traveler.

I always bring a scarf. It's a towel, hat, face mask, extra bag, blanket, etc.

Breathtaking!!! And I highly appreciate what you said about the camels and slavery, and about being a privileged tourist. I live in Greece, and the Aegean and the Mediterranean have become a grave for so many refugees trying to reach Europe from North Africa, that making a trip the other way around, simply by booking a flight/train/ship makes me feel strange and sad and angry. So, I appreciate your view even more. (I hope what I write makes sense). Looking forward to your next video. I like this series very very much.

Such beautiful countryside. I love the way you are traveling, staying in simple accommodations, eating the local foods, seeing the countryside and not just the cities. Thanks for taking us along. 😊💕

So beautiful, thank you for sharing your trip! The scene where you were walking on "your dune" reminded me of Saint Exupéry's little prince :)

20 years ago as a kid I travelled morocco with my family. My father and i took our bikes out one day and rode for hours in the desert till we came to that lake. I will never forget the black fossils! We were surprised to see the lake as at that time it had not been full for a long while and we just came across it by chance. Was such a shock to see you do much the same all this time later!

I really love your videos - they have such a peaceful feel! I think it also shows Morocco from a different perspective than other videos. I will be travelling there in May with a small backpack myself, so I really appreciate this possibility of getting to know your experience. Big thanks and greetings from Poland ❤

Beautiful scenery and very fun vlog! The intro monologue was such an awesome shot. I actually love the Ricoh for this series - the occasional out of focus stuff adds even more of a home-movie feel to the whole thing. Nice work and very much looking forward to the next one!

So beautiful area. looking forward to more adventures. In Morocco it is also popular to visit a village and stay with a so-called Amazigh/berber family. This could give you a good understanding of the Amazigh people and their way of life that lived in this area for 10000+ years. By the way, 99% of Moroccans are Amazigh but most of them were Arabized(changed their native language and religion) when the Arabs came from the Middle East. I hope you will make your way to Dakhla 😄.

Loving this, I had issues travelling in Tunisia on a family holiday about 20 years ago, I was 15/16, this is giving me hope of solo travelling in North Africa 😉 Also thank you for splitting it up into smaller videos, looking forward to the next 😊
