We have spent years in the shop and have learned a lot about what works the best. Also things that can be hard on the bike/finishes.
Before you beat me up for changing the oil too often - -remember it is very cheap insurance and care for your engine. Our engines last a very long time!

the thing i found that i like about the tire paste is it dries and turns to dust as opposed to making the tube and tire stick like all the other stuff i tried

You persuaded me to snag some Rotella for my CR250. I change the oil every ride as it is and that gets expensive using the motorcycle lubes.

Jay, try Shout laundry pre-cleaner for bike wash. Blast off the chunks, soak with Shout. Let it sit then come back and hose off. It has a good, neutral pH that doesn't hurt anodizing or aluminum. I also use Kroil for loosening stuck fasteners. Kroil is expensive but so much better than PB Blaster. Give it time to let it work.

Did you know that all of the dot approved brake fluid you can buy in the USA comes from the same 2 plants? It’s tightly regulated and 2 companies make it all, no matter what it says on the label.

Shell t4 is definitely good stuff. Ive used quaker 1040 oil as well on a pinch with good success but mabye i got lucky wit that one. Most important thing is to change the dang oil, its a 4 minute job.
I use shell currently in my klx125, and used it on a yz80, xl185, XR80, and piranha 90. I find it performs well especially with air cooled motors since theyre the ones that get the hottest.
And wd40 i use to lube my throttle cable, I used it for tire changes, and chain lube. People hate on the stuff for whatever reason...

I love engine ice coolant in my kx450f. I change it at the start of every season (red sticker bike). Never overheated

I run rotella t6 full synthetic 5w40 in my atvs. I buy it in 5 gallon pale to service my superduty. It takes 16L so leftovers are for toys.

Your videos are great! Thanks for all of the super helpful info. As a fellow "old dude" I love these budget "real world" recommendations. It's great that you don't just blindly buy the high dollar stuff like the manuals recommend. I'll try the T4 Rotella.

wow I agree 100% on WD 40 for chain lube, I use to use chain lube yrs ago but got tired of the cost and could never really see a difference in performance between a designated chain lube and WD 40, plus its alot easier to clean

Last year i ran only Lucas 10W-40 for the trans, and Lucas Oil Mix for the gas, the bike went just over 100 hours on stock everything! when we tore it down to rebuild, everything was spotless! it is obviously very good stuff, but now this year with his new 2022 KX85, we run only Kawasaki Performance Oil, and mixing Oil, we will see how everything looks when we tear it apart.

Motorex has several different types of grease, which is the most recommended for the bearings of the motorcycle wheels and for the motorcycle in general?

You can buy 5 gallon buckets of the same oil at the store or online for a lot less than 10 individual one gallon oil cans.

Duly noted. But I’ll spend the extra just to support the brands within the sport.
