There’s nothing like fresh tomato soup, it is completely different from tomato soup from a can. In this video we show you how to take the tomatoes right from the garden and process them into a wonderful bowl of soup. Once you have the basics you can add whatever you want to your tomato base. We like to add some salt sugar and cream cheese. Hope you enjoy the video

My only issue, is the discard of the skin, which has most of the nutrients in the tomato 🍅. Next time, just blend everything, after steaming, and you'll get a full body tomato soup

I think that the video was okay. However, I'm not sure if the tomatoes ever got cooked as soup or if just blanching, peeling, straining, and mashing made the soup. I liked the idea of using cream cheese for flavor.

To thicken u could make a roux or a little cold water and cornstarch mix added to it

You can make an x cut into the skin before the hot water bath and that will make peeling easier
