for anyone who needs it, i got the materials written down. some are exact number, some are just estimates so you may end up with extra but you shouldn't run out.

hopper x 18
stacks of building blocks
1.5 x stacks rails
20 x powered rails
12 x levers
bunch of sand
minecart with hopper
glass x stacks
fence post x 32
cactus x 32
bamboo x 10
piston x 7

the bamboo one u don't need that much hopper u just need hopper railway

I followed this guide but the observer doesn't want to work (yes, the face is looking at the bamboo. Its facing the right way)(yes the redstone is placed correctly, I even used a lever to test it)
