That protect is so cool but $500 bucks for a knife is crazy

Crkt m16 model. Been carrying this knife for 10 years. Never fails me. Looks great with the pocket wear and blade wear. I like knives that are meant to be used. I know so many ppl that carry a knife and don't want to use it cuz it cost to much and looks to pretty. I use my knives. Just throwing that out there.

Both are sweet knives. I’m a Voxnaes fan but the Protech takes the win for me. The bolsters/color combo do it for me.

Awesome looking autos! I was surprised to see a Boker there but you explained that one.

Fairly new to the channel and really liking it. Probably the same reason as most. You don't spend 15 mins rambling on about something that could've been done in 3. Thanks

Ima say protech tr5 cause it has a lock on it so it can’t deploy in your pocket and the action on the tr5 is probably one of the strongest actions ive felt from an OTS knife

I have the satin Karakurt. Couldn't agree more with everything you said. Love mine

I love Pro-Tech and own a couple dozen of them, but that ATCF is about $500--a little steep for an "every day carry" that would get banged up through regular use. I'm planning to pick one up, but it will stay in mint condition as a collection piece; if a want to use some Magnacut steel, I'll bust out one of my $165 Hogue Dekas. And if I want to use a Terzuola-designed knife, I've got my $66 Civivi Tamashii. All that said, I'd been eyeing that Boker for a while now, but I've been a little hesitant to buy it because, well...Boker QC can be hit or miss. I don't mind taking a chance on an inexpensive Kalishnakov auto, but as a rule, I don't buy Boker autos unless I can actually go into the shop and handle them first, and none of the shops near me carry that model. But his video might have convinced me to take the risk.

I’ve been a fan of Bob Terzuola since the mid 80s. I’ll be looking for the full review. Thanks👍🏻

Dang that Boker reminds me a lot of my favorite knife ever, the Kershaw Launch 3, which is discontinued and I wish I could get again. Very much considering the Boker as a similar-enough replacement but wishing it wasn't as expensive as it is.

The terzoula is a perfect design, i wish both were near the 4 inch blade length range

That Boker is almost a 1 for 1 of my edc, the Civivi Altus. I love my Altus and would love that Boker too.

That Terzoula Protech is a beauty, but at $500, it is just too expensive for me. Protech makes really nice knives that are much cheaper.
