I have selected three laptops for video editing that fall under my budget.
One is Dell inspiron 16" 2 in 1, I7 1360P, 16 GB RAM, no dedicated graphics card.
Second one is Lenovo LOQ 15" with AMD Ryzen 7 7840 HS processor, Ram 16 GB DDR5 with dedicated graphics card RTX 4050 GPU 6GB GDDR6
Third one is Lenovo LOQ 16" Intel I7 13620 H Processor, 16 Gb ram Ddr5, and dedicated graphics card RTX 4050 GPU 6GB GDDR6

You lost my confidence and attention as soon as you mentioned Acer. I have that #5 laptop (first one mentioned) and it fell apart before it was a year old in these ways: charging cord has to be finagled very carefully (like finding a needle in a haystack carefully) a certain way for it to charge and that's barely working now (I even bought a different charger thinking that was it, prob port issue) ; charge does not last long..maybe an hour now and that's not watching videos; the "R" key fell off and it won't click back in; there's a long piece of plastic that fell off right at the inside bend; the Acer support is practically nonexistent and that's no exaggeration! Also, the screen went black: read PANIC, and it wouldn't go back on. After researching, had to hold power button down for 15 secs because this is apparently a common issue with Acer screens. Lots of fear on that one because I was praying that it was charged enough to work.

I registered this Acer within a day of opening the box. When all this happened about 6-8 months after buying it and within the 1 year warranty, it was very difficult to contact these people...and I'm talking about incorrect phone numbers on their website! Somehow, someway, digging very deep (think I just googled it because it wasn't on their website), I found an email and emailed them. I did get a response to send the computer to Texas (!) for them to fix it and I live in a state in the east, and I use my computer daily so that was a no for me. I did buy an extended warranty of which I will try to use now. I will now have to buy a different computer while I try to get this one fixed, hence the reason for watching the posted video. Because this guy referenced Acer twice, I trust nothing in this video. NOTHING.

ACER!!! barf. Notice how all the youtube vids that are advertising "TOP 5 BEST LAPTOPS in (2024) all came out 3 weeks ago? Also note the CES tech show in Las Vegas starts January 8, 2024. Sounds like companies trying to unload last year's garbage so they are holding the bag when the new goodies come out.
