You can use the thunderbolt port in a MacBook Pro for HDMI, you gotta get a converter cable since hdmi is just a lower data transfer cable than thunderbolt.

I want to buy a sony Vaio, I'm confused to choose the F series with I5 processor or the E series with I5 processor, if the F series had a long battery-life i would not hesitate to get it but I've found many people in internet saying that it does not a good battery-life, so what do you sugest ?

Im still surprised the 2012 macbook didn't had cd drive im buying the Hp Envy [2] is it a good laptop? i want a laptop with no problems i've had my Macbook pro for 3 years and i havent had any problems yet.

i am just wondering, why the mac book pro and not the HP envy 17 3D beats edition? it is better in every way ( except the track pad and operating system is good or bad depending on your preferences ) but it cost about the same money and you get 1080p graphics, blue ray, 3D movies and games, sandy bridge Intel I7 cpu and 8GB of DDR3 ram, and the 3D glasses are free with the kit. Im not saying your wrong but I thought this was interesting.

Hello cnettv I have a problem deciding laptop. I don't know what to get. There is a brand new Sony vaio E series 15.5 inch with 4GB of memory and it has a i5 processor. Then there is a HP pavillion dv6 which has a 8GB of memory and AMD A6 inside it. But both have 750GB of memory so which one should I have places :)

I'm guessing you need one with graphics of a gig, and around 8 gig of RAM, that would do it if it is not workstation zilion layers complex.
