While bathing,Cloody was so relaxed that he actually fell asleep. It's so beautiful and funny!
As for all the negative comments, I hold him in a baby position in my arms as well and it relaxes him to sit that way so he falls asleep. He also enjoys a body massage, except for his feet. After his baths he goes outside to dry off as usual. Rabbits rarely bathe because they can use their tongues to clean themselves, but since he can't reach his back he likes the water. It is absolutely harmless! So don't be so negative about this people.

You are not supposed to bath a rabbit with water, especially completely saturating them! Their skin is extremely fragile and sensitive, it can be very easily lacerated or damaged. They should not be put under water as they have very thick hair with many layers, the underneath layer takes over a day to almost completely dry, they can get sick being wet that long.
Lastly, the rabbit is obviously not enjoying laying in the water at the beginning, when they zoom in to his face he is shaking!
People should not own rabbits that haven't bothered doing simple research on the animal.

Edit: never, EVER bathe your bunnies under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. If needed, take a warm, damp towel and pat them lightly. Dry them off immediately afterwards. Unless they’re drenched in mud or something, don’t bathe them. They can take care of themselves.

This rabbit clearly is in a state of shock and I just got tears in my eyes because he wants to get away. Rabbits are like cats; they lick themselves to get cleaned. They don’t need baths unless they are sick and are unable to clean themselves, and it should just be in shallow, warm water and it should be really quick. Otherwise, spot cleaning should do the trick.

I have a pet bunny for 4 months now, and I can attest to the fact that even spot cleaning takes a while for their fur to dry as it’s thick. I checked and the bunny in this video has passed away which is so sad. :( Please, if you ever get a pet bunny, do not give them baths. :(

All that is wrong with this video:
1. The rabbit is on its back, in a trance and paralyzed out of fear.
2. It is drenched in water and some of it is getting on its head.
3. Some of the water ended up in the bunny's ears.
4. They decided to "give it a shower" even though it doesn't look dirty at all.
5. They are laughing without even considering to Google whether they should be bathing their rabbit.
Never do this to your bun. I have a lionhead and he only had to be bathed once, when he got diarrhea. (He is alive, well and hydrated at 2 years and 6 months now.) We had to towel dry and blow dry his fur (very carefully) afterwards. If you absolutely have to bathe your bun, never soak their head and ears. Don't use any human shower products either. Their skin is very sensitive. Make sure your bun isn't stressed as stress can kill them. Basically, don't do anything the people in this video did.

DO NOT hold the rabbit with their back parallel to the floor - this will induce a "trance" state which may seem relaxing but is actually incredibly stressful for the rabbit; it is an extreme fear-based response to a predatory situation. Be sure to give proper support and keep a firm hold so your bunny is as un-stressed as possible.

I just feel the pain of the bunny while just looking at the video....it’s in shock. You can easily spot that when the rabbit has its face completely still and it’s ears facing completely backwards. God I feel so bad for it....:(

Your bunny may seem calm but it is actually in a state of shock. This amount of stress on them can make them seriously I'll. they also do this when they are very scared they appear paralyzed and you may not be able to see it but if you feel there heart it will race and beat very hard. Also not good for them.

I'm glad that 9 years later people are still commenting on this thing nearly on the daily just to let this guy know how ignorant as hell he is to think that his bunny is falling asleep when in reality it's moments away from dying of shock. Well, knowing this guy's video description and how he clearly doesn't know anything, the bunny is probably long gone, which, I'm not sad about actually, cause at least that means it doesn't have to deal with an owner that doesn't know how to take care of rabbits anymore.
