Rabbits play and roll in the sand and dirt in the wilderness it's a play thing...still that was probably litter and it's not good for it to get in their eyes, generally speaking, but especially being used litter. I personally prefer wooden pellets for mine because they don't feel the need to throw them away, and for play they have a box with "sand" made of cellulose, scented non-allergic. They are cute when they play but finding the room in "play sand" not so great for the owner😣

i always thought bunnies were cute until my sister got 2 of them as pets. now i despise bunnies they’re the most worthless animal ever created by whatever created life at this point i’m just waiting for the apocalypse so i have a reason to eat them.
