Hi Vicki and Jay! Today's video lesson was very interesting. Without a doubt, "please" is a magic word. I use it a lot in Portuguese: "por favor". Take care!

Hi vicky, I'm curious about the way you pronounce "interesting" You divide the word in 4 syllables, I think. After hearing you at 1:11 I searched a little. It seems that yours is the less "popular" (common) way to pronounce "interesting. Could you provide some inputs about that 4-syllables pronunciation? Thanks

Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha!
That's two words in English and Russian is absolutly similar in using!
PLease - "Pozhaluysta!" and Thank You - "Spaseebo"
One small detail in ethimology of Russian word "Spaseebo" - Russian "Spasee" is one of form of verb "to save", part "bo" is oldest "Boh" (God). And Spaseebo is old a Christian wish: "(Let) God will save (You)!" Now it just easy word...
