First of all, I appreciate the short video of you walking around while wearing the pack. Lots of other reviewers will do a full review of a pack without ever showing how it rides on the body. I am 6', but I also have a longer torso, so a lot of shorter packs don't look right on me. I was already leaning towards a Vertx, but you just sold me on one. Thanks!

I have had a gamut and a gamut plus since the preorder years ago. I have used the gamut 90% of the time since. It has been the most durable pack I've owned. And best of all, isn't covered with molle.

In addition to a handgun, vertx touts this model for carry of SBR or rifles that disassemble into two halves, I would have loved to hear your thoughts on that. Later this week UPS is bringing both a Gamut 2.0 in
Vietnam Tiger stripe camo ( the price was too good to pass up) and a black Eburlestock little trick to see which one works best for the SBR rifles I have. It does appear that Vertx has a little bit better accessory
Selection with the velcro holsters/ mag pouch/ Primier Body armor panel sized just for it, than the Eburlestock which enjoys military contracts and hunter use.

I bought this bag in the end of October and I absolutely love this bag I carried a JanSport backpack for 22 years it wasn't until I got older and started having children and realized that the JanSport did not sufficiently carry all of my gear, I want to thank you sir for posting this video it's great to see that the bad guy spent $200 on can in the least hold up for a year

I've had a vertex gamut plus for about 2 years. I love it Either one is great, I think you may be able to find something else possibly as good, but nothing better!

Thanks again G.T. Im looking for a new pack for hiking. I have a S.O.G. ninja as a Edc when i go out around town but id like somthing bigger that will be able to carry more for hiking. I do remember the video you did on the laptop bags u carried. I tried that approach and it wasnt for me. Thanks again as always for a thorough review on your channel.

All of these bags are cool, I just wish the manufacturer would put rain flaps over the zippers. The woods and bush I trek through up here in the PNW can be very wet and water can and does get through zippers on my bags without the flap.

What is your view about the fact it has no cinch straps to lock the load in place when it is not as stuffed as your current EDC? This has been a big deterrent to me deciding on this pack. Your opinion would be appreciated. Keep up your great vids. Long time fan.
