Just saw your channel now!! And I loved the side sculpt video format. You gave me hope, now I can do everything in blender, don't need to pirate any more

Watching you made the cake in zBrush was strangely fun, especially the swirly top bit. I'm gonna try to do that in Blender but it looked so easy in zBrush. Thanks for another fun video!

Nice comparison, although the zbrush sharky has a more creepy touch to it xD I favor the blender one :D

I really recommend you get used to using Face Sets in Blender. One thing I like to do is include a bunch of random spheres far apart from each other as one object, and assign "face sets by separate meshes, " then pull them into the sculpt when I need them. They're easy to hide, persist through each voxel remesh (make sure to toggle that on), and you can make brushes affect their sections elusively. This is especially useful with the cloth brush. Also, please expand that left brush panel by like 20%, it opens up beautifully. Blender's tools are so satisfying up until ~6million polygons for me.

Hi, thanks a lot that was very interesting. It would be nice to hear which software you used first.
Usually by me the second try of anything works out a little better.     Keep up the good work!

Hi, seems like you are improving in Blender, so comparisons coming closer to apple vs. apple :-) BTW: you can try my JSculpt addon for Blender that has a mode to insert meshes and primitives with Ctrl + Click, which kind of mimics the Zbrush insert meshes, also has join and remesh, Extract from mask and other features. And perhaps you already found this out: Switching the active object in Blender directly in sculpt mode can be done by hovering over and object and pressing Alt + Q.

there's a plugin (jsculpt tools) that inserts mesh in Blender in sclupt mode so you don't need to switch and in theory - duplicates stuff too (haven't managed that part), but is very very buggy - crashes blender but then again I might be doing something wrong as I don't know blender very well either.
I find I can't get the same level of detail I get in zbrush.
