for the ice; boil the water for a few minutes first then, without shacking air back in, use the cooled down water.

Hi, I’ve looked through many videos but cannot find a video that shows the best way to insert a clip, nut or screw into a resin, concrete or plaster of Paris casting. Can you help please

The item I want to make a mold of is constructed just like the bolt except the front is rounded or convex and I need it to be nice and smooth because I will need my finished product after resin to be smooth. What’s the best way to stabilize it for mold making? Should I do it at the very top of the threads? The master is plastic.

You offered to help me with my project. I'm going to take you up on that. I apologize, but I'm stumped...
I'm pouring a Dia del Muerte skull with Amazing Clear Cast, maybe 2.5" high, in a soft silicon mold (Shore15A). My first pour was generally perfect except all the expected bubbles. My second pour, some weeks later, was generally the same except I mixed broken glass inclusions into the resin and I cured it in a pressure pot. (The mold is the size and shape of a plastic drinking cup; sort of a conical cylinder). The problem is my second skull/pour is distorted in shape compared to both the master sculpture and the first pour... it is taller and thinner. I wonder if the pressure distorted the mold. And, if this is the case, what can I do to prevent it? I can send you a picture, if I knew where to send it to.
