Is it normal to shake the car/gear stick like that when starting the engine ?
I got new flywheel and engine/gearbox mounts and still shakes when starting up, first bmw i own so I've never had that before.

I have a similar car and sometimes goes a bit noisy in second gear, is not that smooth shift if you know what I mean
Any advice, have you ever had similar experience
Mine is a 520 d, 2013, 65000 miles

everything is ok with the car and gear knob, dont worry about the shakes. It's because knob is connected directly with the engine, 4 cylinder engines do shake a little bit more, hence the knob does.

The 2.0 is a bit underpowered for the 5, had mine for 2 years and always felt it was missing the umph :(
