In more of a broad address to the world of fragrance, I want to say I 100% agree with you about Layton by PDM overtaking Aventus as the standalone king of men's fragrance. Got to sample both of them recently for the first time, and Creed as a whole feels like a brand relying on status quo.

Burlington 1819 screams fresh “old money” . It smells so unique and luxurious. Also Oceania from Roja is amazing. Unfortunately it’s too expensive for me, but the quality is unmatched.

After trying all the D&G light blue for men, I came to the conclusion that the dolce and Gabbana light blue au intense for women is the best it embodies the cleanest freshest summer scent out of the whole collection

Very nice choice. I also have Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Intense EDP on my future life list. I would definitely purchase 200 mL bottle, such a staple. I personally enjoy clean white musks in this.

For me 5 five summer fragrances for life are: 1. 40 knots - fresh baby wipes dipped in the sea with woody backbone. Can be found for 150€ ml online
2. Mfk - aqua celestia cologna forte. Imagine aventus without pinneapple with added flowers, perfromance better than aventus. 70ml can be found for 150€
3. ATH - ozone. Pina colada beast mode, 100€ 50 ml
4. Orto parisi - bergamask. Bergamot vetiver possibly patchouli, beast mode. Can be found for 110€ 50 ml
5. PDM - Greenly. Imagine drinking apple juice in freshly cutted grass. Unique. Can be found for 140€ 75ml
I dare everyone to find me better summer fragrance selection in terms of performance, uniqueness and price point

Edit: So I tried Acqua Di Gio Profumo and omg I got me a 125ml bottle. I found my 5! Acqua Di Gio smells amazing. Lifetime fragrance worthy

Welcome back! Missoni Wave was one of my favorite cheapie pick ups last year. Light Blue Intense is a classic. Snagged me a bottle of Invictus Aqua (2018) synthetic freshie but smells clean. Summer will be interesting.

1. Elorea Water, punchy ylang ylang, neroli, and jasmine with a bright citrus aquatic vibe, super unique citrus scent.
2. Hermes Un Jardin Sur le Nil, warm mango and herb vegetal fragrance. Like being in a blooming orchard surrounded by a vegetable garden on a sunny day.
3. Commodity Magnolia, blooming magnolia and fresh sweet florals
4. Diptyque Vetyverio, bright refreshing citrus and florals with warm spices, woody vetiver, and musk.
5. Replica When The Rain Stops, green, clean, aquatic and rose with a cozy musk drydown.
