I just used a cube to make some broth to drink for a sore throat. I added some pepper and Italian seasoning. It turned out pretty good.

You can add egg to make egg drop soup, also add cornstarch to thicken.

Maybe once a day or two for sodium intake i have two beef cubes to my wwII mess kit maybe add pepper and tabasco to spice it up a bit too

u can't really find chicken stock in groceries here in the Philippines but I really wanted to try something american. Hope cubes will do

I don’t have a whisk unfortunately. Can I use a spatula to crush the stock cube, then stir it in hot water?

I saw this on the side pane while searching homemade cubes. So, what the heck, you never know if you might learn something different than how you do things, right. I use cubes with vegetables and let simmer for a while on the stove before using for extra flavor profiles.
But with the shelves being empty due to "Let's Go Brandon's" policies and gas prices soaring I am stocking up on everything to get through the winter that I can right now. I bought 2 frozen turkeys yesterday, went to 2 grocery stores, 1 had 4 designer turkeys for $64ea, and 2 JennyO's and the other had small Butterball and their store brand "young" turkey(marketing ploy but it was the biggest one I found). I got 1 Butterball and one of the store brands just in case they are hard to find for T day.
We bought a large upright freezer and have been stocking up on meat and what not. LET'S GO BRANDON.

I went to the supermarket and forgot to buy chicken broth. Its not the same but i have to work with what I have, Im not going to do a 1-2 hrs line to get in plus having the possibility of getting infected. Thanks. 👍🏻

I want to make shepherd's pie for the first time ever, and I'm planning to add the chicken stock cubes I've got at home. Any experienced person here who knows if that would work?
