Gotta love how ford loves to feature the folding shifter/desk but doesn't make it available on the working trim where it would be utilized most!

It's great but they need to offer the pro with the bigger battery to everyone not just fleet buyers and if they could delete the dealership mark ups it would be even better

Since no one can actually buy it at that price, it's kind of a moot point.

So Happy Nathans back more frequently. I'll say he can be an acquired taste but hes one of my favourite presenters and I think he fits a niche that the others just cant. Thanks for bringing it back to a buyers perspective for those that drive 1 car for 5 years or more not 1 car every 2 days.

Love the shifter on the column, on my 2021 f150 3.0 diesel. Frees up enough room for a middle seat, and seat folds down for a massive armrest. Underneath that middle seat is a storage compartment. 3.0 diesel gets 31mpg on the highway with cruise control set to 70mph. Also got 40 mpg with cruise control set at 55mph.

I like the Pro more than the other trims. The price is great, but I like how it looks and the smaller screen fits in the dash.

One of the most common sense offerings of anything by any manufacturer. But the Ford F150 Lightning really hits the mark in most respects for anyone who wants and EV truck. Personally, I think the resurrection of the Lightning name for the EV version of the F150 was brilliant.

This is absurd you’ll never find one at that price. I was at a Ford dealership in Huntersville North Carolina yesterday and every new vehicle had a $7500-$20, 000 market adjustment price added to the sticker. It’s ridiculous

I like the truck. The background music in this video is distracting and annoying.

This seems like a home run for the value. Chip shortage and dealers are what is going to constrain their sales. I’d bet if they had ample chips, to prevent dealer markups, they’d sell hundreds of thousands of these… people who don’t tow, but tradesmen/people who work around town, this is a slam dunk.

Is it bad that when I hear $39k my mind says + market adjustment + dealer add ons + delivery + prep + fuel surcharge lol = $64k

Find a wrecked f-150 with folding arm rest and put it in the Pro. Problem solved

Order a Lightning Pro loaded for $47k - 7500 tax credit at msrp. Should be in early June, heck of a deal. Wanted the xlt big battery, but for $30k more just wasn’t worth it.
Yes, I wished the Pro came in big battery also. I’m guessing Ford will allow regular customers the 131 KWt battery in a couple of years and then I’ll sell it for the big battery. I do have a reservation for the Silverado ev work truck, but I heard it’s also will have the small battery for $40k.
Ford is very conservative with their epa numbers, I’m betting that I’ll probably be able to get 250 + epa miles with the Lightning

I'm not a Ford guy, but I give it up to them for building an actual electric pickup, and not some unibody wedgie.

I agree they should've gave the work station on the Pro

I’d rather have vinyl floors in all trims.

They really dropped the ball not having the folding center console folding down included for the work truck. 🤯. At least allow the option.

I wouldn't want the sunroof anyways, they start to leak over time and if you're ever in a hail storm there goes the glass over you so no thanks. Nice truck and if I had the money I would buy one. No more oil changes, trans fluid changes, rear end grease, no more spark plugs, plug wires, coil packs or distributor to mess with. No more worrying about timing chains, blown head gaskets, dropping a valve, oil pump going out, fuel pump going out, what the price of gas is or oil to change the oil every so many miles. Just keep it charged and drive it. Will there be things to do to it, yeah but not as much as a regular truck. So yeah sign me up to one day getting one of these EVs in the future!

If it had a bench seat with room for six it would be a perfect pickup.

Agreed the Pro is an absolute crazy bargain. I decided to go with the Lariat ER because we wanted the ER battery and creature comforts (heated and cooled seats being the biggest) for long family road trips. Can't wait to see these in owner's hands. Any day now!
