The journey through our GI tract starts in the mouth. It is here we make our decisions. And it is important decisions, since approximately 95% start in the gut. We choose: what goes in, how much we take in, when we eat, how long we are going to chew and the surrounding environment / atmosphere during the meal. In episode twenty-seven, Barbara gives us a glimpse into these vitally important processes that takes place as we digest our food. In part one the focus is on the role that hydrochloric acid play. On top we’ll also learn secrets about vitamin B12, how to treat reflux and much, much more.

I have been listening to Barbara's lectures for quite some time now, and I must say she is truly remarkable. She ensures that her lessons are up-to-date with science-based research, something that many doctors nowadays seem to neglect. It's disheartening to see how they fail to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of medicine. Research plays a crucial role in developing new treatments and therapies. While most physicians have an interest in staying informed about new research, treatments, and trials that could benefit their patients, the sheer amount of information can be overwhelming. I never grow tired of revisiting life's important lessons. Currently, it is imperative that we do our own research since doctors are not adequately keeping up with the ever-evolving field of medicine. It's a sad reality, but true. Thank you so much, Barbara.

intermittent Fasting allow you to eat choosing your own window, you can eat breakfast at 8h and have another meal at 14h for example, it depends on how many hours you wish to fast.. it is undeniable that the longer the fasting period the highest the apoptosis, meaning getting read of ill cells and therefore healing.. there is also omad, one meal a day and that is the best if a person can achieve it as the body will have 23 hours to heal ..

Im a grazer, I eat pretty much all day. I most often consume healthy foods. But it is definitely all day. Is this bad for me? Coworkers often tease me about this, and that I eat so slow

then drinking a coca cola during meals helps to digest being the coca cola very acidic, so we can drink and be satisfied without diluting the hcl in the stomach... that's why probably lot of people digest better drinking coca cola (or pepsi) ..
