To anyone who wants to listen to the song, It's called "Snake City - Look at You Differently"

2:07 I've heard that to emphasize transients with compression you'll want a slow attack (to allow the transients through). But here you suggest a fast attack. How would quickly clamping down transients emphasize them? Some clarity would be appreciated (no pun intended).

Hi great video. Can you please explain how a when using compression, a quick attack and quick release emphasises transients? I was under the impression a quick attack results in squished transients and also the standard setting for transient emphasis is typically slow attack quick release. This confused me.

Can I request a video on adding delay/reverb to dry sounds such as synths and what your framework/philosophy is when your mix is majority dry sounds and you have to create the space they live in from the ground up? I always struggle with this

Dang that’s a great tip, I didn’t know Kirchhoff did that!

Can you make a video on different types of vocals? I’m really interested in replicating something like 454’s “Late Night”

I've used binaural panning on my reverb/delay send buss and the effect is pretty dramatic. great video!

@5:40 Really destroys the depth of sound makes the song sound like its in a small space and being sung half assed

I mentioned quite some time ago via email about checking out "Kirchhoff EQ". Hoping your admin received the thread, yet you commented in the previous video a viewer mentioned it to you in a Comment. I too am a Gullfoss fan, just like you. Yet, it will be interesting to get your take, opinion, and analysis on Sonible's A.I. plugins "Smart:EQ (v3), " "Smart:Comp (Compressor), " "Smart:Reverb, " and without question, "Smart:Limit (Limiter)." Whereas the Sonnox Oxford Inflator and Limiter are my "number One go-to's, " Smart:Limit will open and enhance your eyes and ears to a whole another level in concept and integration on how to implement a Limiter. Also, Smart:EQ provides more flexibility and options for ultimate precision (whether static or dynamic), especially a feature no EQ plugin or A.I. EQ has, including Pro-Q 3 and Kirchhoff EQ. The sound is incredible and transparent. Smart:Comp and Smart:Reverb are eye-openers. Sonible has taken A.I.to a whole different level. All Sonible plugins are Demo available, fully featured (purchased versions). I am"not" a Sonible spokesperson, yet I am a Sonible fan, especially when it comes to enhancing the overall workflow to make it virtually "seamless.". IMHO, these plugins are worth being part of any person's toolbox. Hopefully Mr. Sage Audio, you will look into it, for it will be interesting to hear and see your overall opinion and analysis. Your platform is legit, and congratulations are in order. Keep up the exceptional work.

Thank you so much for all the great info. Would you elaborate on the sample delay technique? What instruments you use it on and what do you do with the dry signal? Thank you!!!

I hope you appreciate a bit of "proofreading".... :)
mentioned "LP" instead of "HP" in the opening part
"Differeniate" instead of differentiate" in titles
"Short attack" in compression to enhance transients? Isn't it the opposite?
"Percieve" instead of "Perceive" in titles
HP demo at around 5.40" has a sound gap that makes it hard (to me) to get the difference....
