I used one the bass with a high cut all the way down to 100 hz, fast attack and 15ms release sidechained to my kick to make space for the kick transient, works a treat and is so much faster that a multi band comp

Same with the guitars/ pads filtered to 170-230hz side chained to the snare to make room for the punch. Stunning plugin

Also in soothe you can choose to only sidechain the mids or sides or both or blend to taste

use the lowcut and highcut. So it only affects the frq that the vocal needs😊

Oh and be sure to mute any time based effects like verbs and delay throws from printed copy of vocal that’s being sidechained to instrumental

My only complaint is that this things sounds good at like 2-6%. Anything more and it’s wicked overwhelming. Not sure why the Adjust knob is so sensitive.

I’d normally let you use waves and say it’s a great choice, but this is one of those ones where the free alternative is better than the actual paid plugin

Hi Jerry, i am following your instructions and i am using Trackspacer. I have my beat with the trackspacer on it and my vocals sidechained to the beat. What i want is to only export the beat with the final ducking effect but without the vocals, as i am bouncing the beat to a different daw. But no matter what i do every time i export all tracks it seems like no effect has happened and the beat is still the same as before. I am exporting with the effects on and all tracks seperately. Please help 🙏
