How to set up a Kegerator - Keg Master Series 3

4 and a half metres seems a bit much for the liquid lines. According to the instructions that came with my Series 3, 2 metres of the included 4mm tubing was needed. It works for me and as long as it works for you that's all that really matters. Bloody love mine.

Well good to see the left hand is talking to the right hand at kegking. As long as it works, who really cares. Just had I thought I have different taps(picked up mine earlier this year), maybe that is a factor. You going to be attending any of the good beer week events, I thinking of coming up and it'd be great to catch up and have a beer.

The calendar is released on March 20th, but no doubt I'll want to go to them all.

it really comes down to temperature, ID of your lines and tuning your system etc. but saying that the 'beer school' I went to was actually held at Keg King and from what they told me 4m for this system is the usual length, but mate if you are getting great beers from 2m all good!! mine are stainless, and easy to clean, they do get sticky if I forget to give them a rinse. One day I'll get the forward sealing ones, probably when these need replacing. Any money I have goes into beer production lol

Cheers mate, mine get sticky too, well on the IPA side. they reckon if you flush the nozzle with some sanitiser, or whatever, after you use them it stops it, I havent tried it yet cause I'm usually to merry to remember to do it lol. Cheers!

Also If your worried by the sticking taps or having plastic in your taps have a look at some foward sealing taps IE perlic SS Taps (around 60$ ea i think?), or if you want to axe those meters of beer line try the flow control taps.

What mileage have you got out of your gas tank? I just setup my micromatic without hose clamps and i had a verry slow leak but it wasnt bubbiling with the soapy water. I pressurised the keg and turned of the tqnk valve. Over 2 days the tank gauge droped from 50KPA to 40KPA. I put hose clamps on and its been stable for a week now.

and they say that the ABS taps seem not to heat up as much and keep the frothing down to a min, I have the steel taps on mine and do tend to froth also the tend to stick quite alot too, maybe the ABS taps wont stick as much or better yet get those FORWARD sealing taps they are the go..cheers
