This case shows how important it is to openly talk about and identify any mental health issues. Imagine if that guy had gotten treated for PTSD, all of his family would have been alive. The stigma around mental health needs to go.

More horrifying fact is that - 'we don't even know how many such secrets are hidden in our society' It's just one case that went wrong & came in limelight. It all started in 2007 & kept going til the younger son manipulated other family members to commit suicide.

We need a whole series about occults, cult and urban legends that shook the world, like a documentary series about satanic cults. Please Netflix if you're listening all horror fans want that.

Really spine chilling document series. No one would have faced this type of fate. Very gut wrenching document.
Mental health is something which is tabooed from ages . It's high time mental health should be looked upon like any other illness without any social stigma.

That was so scary

The thing that scared me out more is the fact that, he managed to convince everyone to listen to him. Imagine all these people listened to him without questioning him. It scares me, how easy it is for lalit to manipulate everyone in his family. It scared me more to imagine what if someone I know does this to me. It makes me sick in my stomach whenever I think about this documentary.

Yesterday I watched this series on “world mental health day”
And I can’t stop thinking about this 😔
Mental health in India is taken so lightly

Watched it last night and I just couldn't fathom the gravity of this incident. Makes your blood curdle.

The whole issue is about mental health, which is the least discussed thing in the Indian society

I just finished the series on Netflix. There is nothing out of the ordinary in this case. The recovered diaries were thorough. Every facet of life in that family was being manipulated by Lalit. He brainwashed his entire family into this ritual which resulted in their deaths. I felt bad for the children. It broke my heart. Such a tragic incident.

Lalit’s sick mind played with all of their lives. This is so scary, poor mental health is considered equivalent to someone being mad and people just can’t accept nor admit to it. May the souls Rest In Peace, utterly disturbing documentary😓

I have gone through PTSD. I lost 3 members of my family in an accident, all at once.

I didn't consider it a taboo subject and visited a psychologist in my area. That lady was gem of a person. She helped me a lot and its been 7 years now. I'm a much happier person today. Plus I have become more closer to the almighty. All this really helped. So please, its not shameful, in fact its a favour you'll do to yourself by seeing a therapist. Allah bless all of you. Life is short. Just live !
