That's great news! I have dealers contacting me about my 23 Ioniq 5, begging me to sell it. My wife leases a 2024 Ioniq 6 and we both love the car! Hoping that when the lease is up in April 2026, Hyundai will give us a great deal to purchase it. If not we will probably get another Ioniq 5.

The world is definitely moving EV. YEAH! My wife and I currently drive a Mitsubishi PHEV and a Hyundai ICE, but plan on going full electric this. Likely Hyundai Ionic 5 and 6. Keep up the postings of great EV info.

Yes, kudos to them. According to my running tallies, Hyundai sold 56, 664 EVs last year, and Kia sold 43, 732 (not including the KonaEV).

I was given a brand new (still had plastic all over everything on the inside) to drive while my Ioniq 5 was in the shop for the ICCU failure. It has a nice interior space, but I could fit four golf bags and three fellow golfers in the back of my I-5, while I could only fit one golf bag in the trunk of the I-6, and it had to go in diagonally. I don't like the looks of the I-6 either. Yes, it's range is better than the I-5, and it's just as comfortable, but its utility is significantly below the I-5.

Corbin, is there a breakout of what part of the sales for H/K/G are from lease vs buy? Thinking that there will be a lot of ‘23-‘24 H/K/G coming onto the used market in 1.5-2 years and suffering some->substantial depreciation making for a great used EV market in ‘26 for the eGMP’s.
