Hyundai, Kia's market share in Europe tops 8% in May, ranks 4th in European auto market

현대차·기아, 지난달 유럽서 작년의 2배 팔았다…점유율 8.1%

Over in Europe, the combined sales of Hyundai Motor and its affiliate Kia more than doubled.
The Korean autogiants sold over 88-thousand vehicles in May, up 107-point-5 percent on-year.
This ranks them fourth in the European auto market and their combined market share stood at 8-point-1 percent.
The robust performance was mostly attributed to poor auto sales last year as well as strong sales in SUVs and electric vehicles in 2021.
