I feel like this video perfectly portrays their individual strengths. Eddy always nails it when it comes to technical stuff (like he's very precise and meticulous, so for example he usually wins when it's about "not making a mistake" in some way) while Brett is really spontaneous and adaptable (as you can see in the relay which he absolutely NAILED). It's so nice to see how they perfectly complement each other like that, and also it proves that there is no "one" type of musician and no singular approach to learning and perfecting a craft like music.

PS: I've been actively watching the channel since under 1Mil I think and it's been my main source of inspiration and motivation to continue playing the clarinet. I'm sure I'm not the only one by far, and I hope you know just how much your channel has not only entertained but also been a source of inspiration and support for many years. Thanks for making classical music so fun and approachable and for keeping this passion alive <3

Dude their playing got soo much better, I swear, I've never heard that Brahms opening that good in tune! Same with the SIbelius Concerto 3rd mvt.

And just in general the sound is much more lively and clean, you can tell they practiced 40 hours a day
