People who watch this video and think of Saudis dont know anything about history. The Saudis were not the ones who orchestrated the Arab revolt, it was the Hejazi Arabs, who got independence from the ottomans and then got conquered by the Saudis

The sunnah is correct, there is no doubt in this, but sheikh you avoided the question. The arabs were instrumental in going against the Ottoman empire and bringing it to the end. This did happen and now we Muslims can't even get a UN resolution passed to stop the genocide in Palestine because the infidels hold the gun at our heads, they couldn't have done that if we still had caliphate of the muslims. It is disingenuous to say : " i wasn't there so i can't judge! ....Are court judges at the scene of every crime, to be able to judge. Not a proper answer sheikh by far. You showed your Arab ethnic allegiance with your answer...and yes i do know you are not originally from Arab stock. We are ibni Adam and we make mistakes ...but don't defend that, in no way did the Arab follow the Sunnah when they fought their Muslim brothers the Ottomans. And please don't say ....and what about the battle of Siffin! That wouldnt be correct.

Sheikh Assim, what happened in past 15-20 years was because the SCHOLARS were misguided and made BIG TIME mistakes by NOT JUDGING by the REVEALATION to the MESSENGERS of the Almighty.

As much as I respect most of these scholars/ muftis/ sheikhs, many of them have their weaknesses as well. We all do
.
But they tend to be afraid to speak the HAQ on great matters which are causing harm to our Muslim nations. Either they are afraid due to political pressure or self-interests or someother reasons.

Some may have their true opinions but many are just afraid.

Not sure about Sheikh Assim.
I do respect him but do not agree with everything he says.

I totally accept no-revolt thing in islamic ruling, But, I am confused that how can a ruler, formed by non-islamic means (includes most of the banu umayya, banu abbas, ottomans and saud family), can be given this islamic privilege of no revolt against them. If Islamic ruling says no-revolt, then it would have considered ruler to be formed by islamic means (i.e, khilfa e rashidin who were formed by shura which also had voting of sahaba who represented their tribe) . I hope it makes sense, I am not talking about ruler who has personal sins or ruler with weak administration, I am questioning about ruler formed by non-islamic means (i.e, not formed by shura)

Will Imam Mahdi follow the same rulers of time or will he fight to bring true Sharia law?

As far as I have understood, the actual ruling (from Quran and Hadtih) is on following a Muslim ruler who enforces Shariah and not be a threat to Islam.

How can revolting against a Muslim ruler who is not following Shariah, be wrong?

If it is wrong to revolt such evil rulers, then how do we stop evil (from hand, mouth and heart)?

Then why bother doing anything against any evil and just pray.

In even simpler words (to help with the logic)
If your daughter or sister is being attacked by a muslim ruler or on his authority, don't do anything. Just pray.

Wars are fought for a greater cause. Specially when the cause is for ALLAH's HAQ then there should be no excuses even if you have to fight your own father/son etc.
