My guess is that Tesla don't want controls, limits and restrictions imposed on their battery operations. They may want the flexibility of being able to go their own way whenever they need to change focus.

Thanks for your video but your FSD review is lacking:
1. Tesla must stop before the stop sight due to NHSTA requirements. It then continues if the road is clear but if it sees any traffic it will stop where it has better visibility like all drivers do.
2. Most of the issues were on the highway where it’s still using v11 models. Hopefully they’ll update them soon (supposed to happen in September but wasn’t rolled out yet even for EAP)
3. FSD is very courteous- it always stops if another vehicle is in its way and avoids blocking entry/exit from parking lot. This is a good thing. I wish more drivers would drive like FSD

Just sold my 2019 model 3 and got the 2024 model 3 dual motor with FSD transfer and $7, 500 reduction (I don’t pay taxes) and referred myself for the $1, 000 price cut and the $500 super charging. Main disappointment is FSD is 12.4.6, an older version from my 2019. The 2024 is amazing!

One thing you also missed about these grant moneys is that Tesla is probably the most efficient company at using the money wisely.
