This series is a prime example on how to ADAPT a story without ruining it. Expand instead of change. Change for logic's or simplicity's sake instead of change for change's sake. Improve upon what we are given. Honestly, half the character half way more characterization on the series than in the books, like, everyone from the Magisterium to start.

FINALLY!! I'm amazed by the clarity of the conflicts they managed to convey in here. The books can get very abstract at some points, but it looks so clearly put and directed. So many key moments... Will using the knife for the first time... Mrs. Coulter siding forced with Boreal... the Magisterium deciding to take control of the other worlds... Nailed it! Just a month away!
