You can create a mermaid sim directly in create a sim, but to make an existing sim become a mermaid will take a little more work. For this to happen you will need to acquire mermaid kelp, and have a sim eat it and then enter a body of water within 24 hours.

There are a few ways to get mermadic kelp. You can buy it for 500 satisfactions points, or you can find it in Sulani. A consistent way is by exploring the cave on Mua Pel'am until the 'traverse cave waters' option appears. After traversing cave waters a few times you should acquire some mermadic kelp. Other ways include having dolphins retrieve it for you, fishing, and diving within Sulani.

do you know how to turn Neighbors into Mermaids? Because i got a Butler and I want to turn her into a Mermaid. If there is anyway to make a Sim thats not in your household to eat something like Mermaidic Kelp or any sort of food thatll make it easier to turn Neighbors into Mermaids.
