FIRST SHOTS - Tom Cruise on the Set of 'Top Gun: Maverick' - Sequel Now Filming

10/10/18 - Actor Tom Cruise was spotted on the set of the 'Top Gun: Maverick' in Coronado, California outside of San Diego. Tom will be reprising his role as Pete "Maverick" Mitchell for the much-anticipated sequel to the 1986 classic. The 56-year-old actor looked great on the set, wearing his character's trademark flight jacket and aviator sunglasses. The movie is scheduled for release in 2020.

I saw him at the World Premiere of MI6 in Paris. He's a very nice person, not arrogant at all. He works hard, he's doing a movie after movie and aged well.
