It bothers me when someone says something is bad because they didn't like the style it was created in. Most modern superhero films don't have even have a style, they're often just disconnected episodes of a slow moving TV show.

Joker killing his parents is fine, because batman kills him and it changes nothing. He needs to perpetually take revenge forever. Who killed the wayne's doesnt matter, he always needs a new threat to face, so james gunns opinion doesn't make sense

While I despised Danny Elfman's view that only his Batman theme was the only Batman theme, there is no way that anyone would view the soundtrack to Batman 89 as being trash. The main theme became the basis for the amazing Batman: The Animated Series.

P.S. I wonder how everyone is going to react if Gunn decides to take a dump on BTAS too?
