So, I’m sixteen years old, and I curse a lot, like, a lot. When I’m over at my uncles place, and I say a curse word, my nieces or my nephews always tell me. It’s kind of shocking how much I really curse without realizing it. A few days ago, my older sister told me that I cuss a lot so time to change it.

I have an extreme way to Stop cursing. Years ao I went from working in construction to working in a church. To stop cussing my Pastor directed me not to speak for a week. One whole week with no speech was tough. If I had to speak I would text. It taught me to naturally think a lot more before I spoke. Hope it helps!

The reason I wanted to stop swearing is because it does not make you sound intelligent especially around certain people I don't want to swear word accidentally slipping out when I'm around someone from say the clergy for example that would be very embarrassing

Whenever I realize I made a mistake, injure myself, or severely lose my temper, I end up saying naughty words to an extent. I have tried to replace that with golly and it is working pretty nicely.

Whenever I get mad at something I try to replace it with something gibberish like, 'Fringlefrabble' or 'winglewangle' which is pretty weird but it does work.
