There are 2 ways First is mix henna n Indigo to get brown hair n second2 is to use Henna first day n 2 nd day Indigo powder to get jet black hair!!

I was using Moroccan henna, I find it has a more fiery red . But in white or grey hair as it fades it looks, like orange . As is the case with all henna. I had it hair cut and most of it is out. I would have to cut it very short like a boy to get rid of all the orange Brassy tones. Since they are only highlights I don’t see the point in this .

I don’t know about you but I don’t want to look orange with Asian skin, as I get older.

I have tried indigo as a second treatment but it washes out within 2 weeks for me. So I stopped using that.

For the last year I quit using henna
Altogether . I have no plans to
Use chemical dyes either.

So it’s either be content with the beautiful shiny grey and white hair coming through slowly, or back to henna for me. For now I choose my natural black hair with white highlights. It’s acceptable for men, it was acceptable for my mother . It’s beautiful to me too ;)

If you want to keep using henna and find it too time consuming consider Moroccan henna. Within 30
Mins of mixing it’s ready for use on hair. That’s another reason to love it .

I personally think hair dyes initially look good, but after many weeks people look tired and old with the colour. It doesn’t really go well with the ageing skin. The natural white and grey compliments the ageing skin .

But dyes and make
Up, make some women and even men happy . So if that’s what rocks your boat go for it ;)
