FULL PLAYLIST IN THE COMMENTS BELOW.

If you liked this compilation, check out all of my other videos on my channel!

I had a lot of fun making this one, since the SNES is possibly my favourite console ever and I owe it a lot in terms of building my passion for video games and their music in my childhood. I do truly hope this playlist can help you in these troubling times we are all living in right now. Please, feel free to let me know in the comments what you think of it and also what you would like to see/hear next!

There's something special about the SNES era that will never ever happen again.
It is a bygone era of superb gaming!

This music. It really takes me back to a sunny summer day. No school. Playing outside and riding bikes then coming in and playing SNES till 10pm. I miss those days.

Now I have a son on the way and can’t wait for him to have experiences like I did.

Anyone remember the "Play it Loud" campaign, where Nintendo taught you how to rig your RCA cables to your stereo? Man, The SNES sound chip could drive deep bass and wailing treble. Mega Man X was a Jammin soundtrack! Lots of great tunes were composed for that system!

Super Nintendo is the most magical console ever and its soundtrack is a major responsable for that.

Why do the donkey kong snes games get literal musical masterpieces for the soundtrack?
Kind of crazy, and I love it

Idk if anyone else gets the vibe but being a kid when all of these games came out, playing on a 20” tv, the feeling never dies upon hearing these songs. I just wish I didn’t have to go to work and could play some games this morning 😁

Oh those summers in the early 90s when half the kids had snes and half had genesis, and you’d just all head over to eachothers houses and play 😌

The donkey kong country credit roll hit me so much harder than I expected it to, the pure nostalgia to when I was a kid.. the amount of hours and happiness spent infront of super mario world and donkey kong country and everything personal related around that.. god damn, thanks for this list.

A lot of these musical pieces are so well done by every artist that worked respectively on it; but Earthbound, Earthbound's OST fills me with such feelings of calm and joy, like finding home after a very long and difficult journey.

Couldn't have said it better myself. It's the exact same for me. Thanks for letting me relive this beautiful time of my life.

Man I have never played an SNES in my life but the music may be some of the most iconic gaming has ever heard even up until now. The simplicity and beauty captured in these simple beats are what make them so recognizable. Like I said I haven’t picked up an SNES, even so I knew a great deal more of these tracks than I expected to

0:00 (the first one) really takes be back. It was my very first Super Nintendo game along with Super Mario World, and it was the overall one of the very first games that was released when the Super Nintendo was out in 1990/91.
