As an east Londoner who started out in life living in a flat overlooking Tower Bridge almost 70 years ago, I truly appreciate this video Ignacio, thank you so much.

These are amazing - my parents were married in St George's Cathedral in 1936. I never realised it had taken so much damage. Thank you for all your hard work.

Really well done, what people went through then all over the world we can never begin to even feel that emotion... The generations of today don't know how lucky they are...

Love it, brilliant vid. Worth noting, in the nowadays scene of Tower Bridge the cruiser HMS Belfast which saw a lot of action in WW2 and is now a permanent museum.

Brilliant as always Ignacio, so interesting to see this of London, I go there to cycle once a month and have been to all of the places in this video, some recently. I really enjoy watching these films seeing how the places used to look in the 1940s. I wonder if you will travel to Europe again to do then and now at places you may not of been too. All the best Ignacio to you and your family.

Fascinating. Thanks. How come
That tower (at The Tower) at 1:31 disappears? Was it damaged during the ww2 bombing?

What grieves me apart from the loss of life is the destruction of historic buildings and peoples homes.
