It’s sad. We’ve all embraced this media. And we’re still getting subpar results. By now everything should be more than a tick above Blu-ray. And at the very least the Atmos should be good

Solid video once again Shane, Dolby Atmos is so lackluster with Thor Ragnarok and Black Panther that at this point I won't be buying anymore Disney movies on 4K until they know how to use Dolby Atmos right. Honestly the DTS-HD MA 7.1 mix on the 1080p Blu-ray actually sound better.

I agree with you 1000% on black panther... In my opinion... It was a herrible transfer... The regular bluray version look way better.. It was so bad... I thought it was something wrong with my TV..

Shane Star wars should have been number 1 forget the fans man it was a trash transfer. They need to refund everbody and redo it over again.

I would give the video quality for Black Panther at least a 9, but you do have to turn the volume up quite a bit.

I'm so glad I found this channel. As a new 4k Atmos owner, I'm glad I can rely on unbiased reviews. We share similar opinions on some movies so that helps.

The only movie I would have to disagree on is black panther it looked fantastic on 2018 older and black levels weren't washed out, last Jedi wash horrible picture quality.

Black Panther shouldn’t be in this list IMO. There’s way worse like Jurassic Park. The 4K picture looked really good and the best of the 4K Marvel movies. The Atmos was bad though.

I mate is Logan worth a pickup in 4K got dark night box set and avengers infinity war in 4K

Disney do not know how to do 4k transfers and dolby atmos sound. Their animated movies look and sound better in 4k. They are not getting my money unless they solve this mess.

I completely agree with your list Shane. I wasnt terribly disappointed by The Last Jedi video quality but there were countless times with the atmos track where I was like "that could've just flew over my head....but it didn't." I really hope Disney gets their 4K act together before they release Force Awakens and Rogue One

Glad I only purchased the Digital copy of BLACK PANTHER. Didn't think THE LAST JEDI was that bad. I guess we just expect a lot more from SW releases. 😕

I really hope Disney gives us a good/great video and audio transfer for Infinity War and release the IMAX version for 4K. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for these reviews. When these are £20 to £25 in the UK it's good to know to avoid and stick with the Blu Ray. I have Atmos but I'll go ATV4K for these poor conversations.

Great list Shane. Personally TLJ was my biggest disappoint. Directors intent to not include much HDR.. I don’t buy it.

Totally agree about black panther. The black levels were dreadful. Especially in the forest scene at the beginning. Almost unwatchable. It was so dark I thought something was wrong with my projector.
