OP was right in that with it being a small town, the other cops would cover up the whole thing. his best bet would be to go to all the local media outlets, give interviews about what happened, and also mention that the reason Bob's wife left him was because there had been abuse involved and other cops knew about it and didn't stop it. let the whole department burn because of Bob and see how long they cover for him

OP should go directly to Bob's precinct (or wherever he works) and turn him in for false arrest, and kidnapping.

Taking him back to his cheating wife was a complete a$$hole move, then slamming him against the wall, and punching him while in handcuffs, added assault and battery by an evil POS.

But, I can understand why he didn't, being in a small town, it would just be he said, she said.

Ghosting was the best option, but I would have written one more letter...To the local paper.

Give them the entire story, and then check to see if they had the balls to print it.

That would be epic revenge, THEN become a hermit.

And even heart breaking to read knowing the cheating wife knowing it would break up your family your wife now x wife knew the psycological damage this her actions will and has caused i do agree that no contact is best but to call her police officer brother to cause trouble is certainly a crime in its self she sickens me and i dont even know her but no need to punish yourself just stand proud and go forward with achieving growing and prosper dont hide away so far you have suffered that must stop. So report the kidnapping, battery and such to his state police and fbi. This entraps the local department when they attempt anything they are simply an accessory after the fact on the assalents charges, all of them.

Commiting a dozen or so serious violent felony's nullifies stats of law enforcement and leaves soly the title of asselncy applicable in such cases.

This seems like a pro MGTOW story to me. Leaving your wife is one thing....abandoning your daughter is something completely different. The overall story sounds like BS-my opinion
