Honestly? When a cocktail calls for sweet and sour mix I just use simple syrup and lemon or lime juice depending on the cocktail for example the blue Hawaiian, instead of the 1 oz of sweet and sour I just do .5 oz of simple and then .5 oz of lemon into the shaker with the other ingredients, it tastes the same

Store bought sour mix is trash because it has a long list of chemicals in the ingredients. And the sweetener is probably High Fructose Corn Syrup.
