My Top Gear Picks

In this video I'm going to show you 20 snowboarding trick that will prepare you for the upcoming season. I'm in Whistler today and we're about a month away from the first day of the snowboard season. Practice snowboarding tricks before the mountain opens is a great way to get your body ready for the season. It's also a great way to get inspired and motivated for all the snowboard tricks you want to learn this season. For pre-season snowboard training you only need your board, a mat, and half foam roller. The half foam roller is great if you want to train for boxes and rails. If you have any question about the snowboard tricks you're learning this season, you can leave them in the comments. Thanks for watching!

I'm from Mexico City and I've been snowboarding on and off since I was 14, now I'm 39. I came back strongly into it like 3 years ago, and by that I mean going at least three times a year for a couple of weeks or more each time. I really enjoy watching your videos! This summer that just passed I was in the High Cascade Camp and I saw you at the track one of the days lol. Anyways I just wanted to say thanks for everything you post here, it has help me get my bearings back in place, specially at my age.

Snowboarding more than 10 years and never had anyone suggest to me to practice tricks with my board off the slope. Can't wait to get to the snow park and try these. Great work with the videos ;)

Just climb that mountain behind you and you're already on the snow! hahaha but it sucks living in the southeast because we have to wait to mid November to even see some snow

Hi Kevin, I really like the video, especially living in a country far away from any proper snow this is really helpful. I do however ave 1 little comment on your backside 180s: after you land you dont look "downhill" anymore. Even in static practice I think it would be important to get used to turning your head and upper body to a switch stance after landing a 180.

Hey Kevin, I'm a pretty good snowboarder and I like to go into glades (wooded areas) and I was wondering if you could make a tip video on it

I'm a noobie when it comes to snowboarding but your channel does look like it's the best to learn from. How hard is it on your board when you do ride on the rail?
