Corporations definitely do not GAS about their employees. I've known this for literally my whole working career starting in the 1980s. I think in 2020 people, esp in service, healthcare 'essential' jobs learned this the hard way and it continues today for them.

Exactly! I too noticed that I'm most productive from 9 till noon, and on occasion maybe from 2am to 4am at most! Then I need to recuperate and engage in a hobby or side job in the evening.

Why do you Americans use the term 'Could care less', which logically means they are still somewhat caring... The traditional 'Couldn't care less' is the correct term, as it clearly implies the company doesn’t give a damn about you.

You may have made a decision based on the basis that your parents most likely paid for your education. They wanted what was best for you and did whatever it took to pay your way through college. Please correct me if i am wrong.

The jokes on you I never had a job and all my side ideas just seem to build up but never go bang but I will just keep going til something happens or I die either or. I have the skills sorta for UX but never took a UX course or even studied it took a test just for the fun of it made a 67 found out that was useless to do so now working on other ideas, I have a unique brain that can improve on anything you toss my way from coke cans to key rings, to a microwave, but no way to use it, I have a dozen or so ideas I work on the side to try and light these powder kegs up but nothing. I can even visualise blow up diagrams on objects I am familiar with next to the object that is how crazy my 3D visualization skills are. In this day and age, papers saying you got a degree matter more, and you are nothing but a cog that can be tossed away, if you stick out like me you are even more useless.
